Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 July 2026

Everything you enter in PawKeeper stays on your device. We have no servers and we do not collect your data.

What data the app stores

You can enter information such as pet names, breeds, weights, ages, photos, medications and dose times, health-journal notes, and care-contact details (vet, pharmacy, emergency). All of this is stored only in a local database on your device. It is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or any third party.

Data we collect

None. The app has no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no analytics or advertising software. We do not have a server, so we have no way to see, collect, or receive any information you enter.

Photos

If you add a pet photo, it is copied into the app’s private storage on your device so it continues to display. Photos never leave your device.

Network access

The app requests the INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions. These are used solely by Google Play Billing to process optional subscriptions, and by standard Android system libraries. No personal or pet data is sent over the network by the app.

Subscriptions and payments

Optional subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We never see or receive your payment details. Google’s handling of your purchase is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

Notifications

The app schedules local reminder notifications on your device for medication doses. These are generated entirely on-device and are not sent through any server.

Children’s privacy

The app is intended for pet owners and is not directed at children. Because we collect no data, we collect no data from children. PawKeeper is not designed to be used by minors, and purchases are restricted to users 18 and over on Google Play.

Deleting your data

Because all data is stored locally, you can remove it at any time by deleting a pet (which removes its medications and journal entries), clearing the app’s storage in Android Settings, or uninstalling the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL with a new “Last updated” date.

Terms of Use

Last updated: 11 July 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using PawKeeper (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What the app is for

PawKeeper is a personal organizational tool that helps you track pet profiles, medication schedules, health-journal entries, and care contacts, and to set local reminder notifications for medication doses.

PawKeeper is not a medical device and does not provide veterinary or medical advice. It is a record-keeping and reminder tool only. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for diagnosis, treatment, dosing, and any decisions about your pet’s health.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Your content

Pet profiles, photos, and journal entries you create remain yours. Because everything is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for backing up your data (for example via your device’s own backup tools) if you wish to preserve it across device changes or reinstallation.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or misuse the app in a way that violates applicable law or Google Play’s policies.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including missed medication reminders or reliance on information you entered.

8. Changes to the app or these terms

We may update the app or these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the developer’s place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

Subscriptions & Refunds

Last updated: 11 July 2026

Free trial

New users get a 7-day free trial with full access to the app. No payment is required to start the trial.

Plans

Prices are set in USD and may vary by country/region as shown on Google Play at checkout.

Billing & renewal

Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through Google Play. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your subscription automatically renews at the price you originally agreed to, and Google Play will charge your payment method for renewal.

Cancelling

You can cancel anytime from the Google Play Store app (Menu → Subscriptions → PawKeeper → Cancel subscription). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own refund policy. We do not process payments or refunds directly and have no access to your payment information.

What happens if you don’t subscribe

After the free trial ends, app features are locked until you start a paid subscription. Any data you already entered remains saved on your device and becomes available again if you subscribe later.
